Happy Monday, friends! From crafts to brunch table displays to sweet recipes it’s time to start chatting Easter! Who’s excited to start planning for this celebration?

Peeps are an Easter sweet staple and I like them but decided to give them a needed ‘update’. As a fan of sweets with a slightly salty taste I dressed up these peeps perfectly… if I say so myself, wink.  Milky Way® Simply Caramel BITES and sea salt are the perfect pairing, trust me. The best part about this fun recipe is that it’s easy and the kids will love to get involved too! Check out the full recipe and grab your coupon below.

Milky Way Simply Caramel Sea Salt Peeps

Ingredients: Milky Way® Simply Caramel BITES, sea salt, peeps and shortening (optional)

Directions: Using a double broiler melt your Milky Way® Simply Caramel BITES. I add a small amount of shortening to my melting chocolate but that is optional to help with the chocolate from sticking to your pot. Add in a dash (or two) of sea salt to your boiling BITES. Once removed from heat, apply your chocolate to the bottom of your peeps. The slightly warm and melted Milky Way® Simply Caramel BITES are easy to work with so forming the chocolate to your peeps is super easy and fun for the kids too! I added in a few more pieces of sea salt to my chocolate coated peeps because it just felt right, wink.  Serve and enjoy!

I’m with Carmen! I could seriously probably just eat it with a spoon before it hardens. Oh yum!

I have been trying to NOT buy those every time I see them. I think I just broke. Milky Way is hands down my favorite candy bar. No contest.
