Cheerful Pink and Orange Spring Paper Place Setting

Today is such a fabulous day! It’s the first day of Spring, tonight I’m joining a group of creatives for a spring entertaining Pinterest party (you should be there) and today the Divergent movie hits theaters! Fabulous day, right? Who’s planning on seeing Divergent? I have a girls date Friday night and can’t wait!

I had to kick off the new season with some fun colors so I give you a cheerful pink and orange spring paper place setting.  I use to shy from paper products and I have no idea why I did such a thing. The Target seasonal section and dollar bins continue to inspire me and that’s where I got all the paper products for this simple table setting.  I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the new Oh Joy products.

To create this cheerful setting I used a variety of paper products and basic household items.

Polka dot paper tablecloth- I found this on clearance for $1 and it was so large I cut it into two different pieces, now I get more than one use from it.

Jumbo polka dot wrapping paper- Cut wrapping paper into squares to fit under your plates or cut it in a variety of ways to act as a table runner.

Paper banner- The bold pink, white and orange paper banner I used on this project and loved it. It’s such a simple paper item that can be used as a runner or any type of party decor.

Plates, napkins, straws and mason jars are household basics for most. Add these items into your pretty paper table setting along with a few flowers and quickly and effortlessly create a place setting for your next spring inspired dinner party or event!
